Political Scientist Turned Quack: Mohammad Mohibul Haque

His dangerous “cure” is taking bone marrow and/or spinal fluid and injecting it directly into the child’s brain.

Mohammad Mohibul Haque sometimes is known by Mohibul Haque is a Bangledesh native. He is a professor and scholar of political science. He should have stuck to political science because he has done a lot of good. He has posed as a medical doctor with expertise in autism. He has all sorts of quack treatments he pushes on autistic children.

Haque graduated from Aligarh Muslim University, in India in 2009. He completed his doctorate in political science. He is currently a political professor at this education institution.

Haque’s doctoral thesis:

In this field, he concentrates on international politics, Indian Polity, minority rights, terrorism, and politics that affect the Muslim community.

Haque has published different research papers in the human rights sector.

Haque is also a panelist for the Center for Research and Policy Studies. Haque has received the President of India Dr. Shankar Dayal Sharma Gold Metal for Excellence. He should have stayed where he knew what he was doing.

Autism

Haque is not a medical doctor, he is a Doctor of Philosophy. According to Google Scholar, Research Gate, and other databases, he has not authored a peer reviewed study or meta analysis.

He feels the need to open quack clinics around the world and impose dangerous “treatments.”

He feels the need to say he can cure autism. I have translated the video (English subtitles) where he talks about it:

Another Video about what he thinks autism is but this one is in English.

Haque, however, is not listed in any database as having a medical license of any sorts.

He presents himself as a Harvard graduate but he just took a continuing education course. Anyone can take those. This course was “Health and Wellness: Designing a Sustainable Nutrition Plan.”

UK

He is on the run from the London Metro Police. The media in the UK won’t name him but we have a source to tell us this is who is targeting autistic children.

According to the news reports, the London Metropolitan Police have launched an investigation due to concerns about stem cell injections being promoted as an autism cure.

The Royal Borough of Greenwich said that it was aware of these concerns.

The London Met Police are investigating a report of medical fraud.

Greenwich issued a warning to schools and nurseries in their jurisdiction after they were made aware of the situation.

According to the report about “an individual claiming to be a doctor plans to visit the UK to offer dangerous, experimental procedures on children with autism.”

“We understand that this person is proposing he transfer of bone marrow and spinal fluid to the brain by injection,” said a Greenwich spokesperson. “This unlicensed procedure poses a significant threat to life and there is no evidence of any benefits.

Professor Declan Murphy, a leading autism professor at King’s College said that any stem cell injection “should not be offered” as a cure for autism.

Evidence has shown no benefit but many horrific side effects.

His office had correspondence between Emma Dalmayne looking for an autism cure. Emma reached out via email to get information about what exactly they were promoting and below is the email exchange.

Peer Reviewed Research of Brain Injections of Stem Cells

One study is in its infancy and that is for multiple sclerosis. This is disease is progressive. This is a phase 1 study and only adults participate. It is closely monitored by qualified medical researchers and the participants and fully aware of what it entails. Each have signed an informed consent.

According to Pew Research, unproven stem cell interventions have led to harm. These regenerative therapies have great potential for traumatic injuries and serious diseases. There are some that are FDA approved.

Most of these “treatments” are not FDA approved. These have led to life threatening infections, chronic pain and death. More than 700 clinics in the US offer unapproved stem cell and regenerative therapy for Alzheimer’s disease, muscular dystrophy, autism, spinal cord injuries and COVID 19.

The products offered are made by the very companies pushing these interventions are the patients own cells or from donated amniotic fluid, placental tissue, or umbilical cord blood and other birth derived cells and tissues.

The FDA gave these companies until May 31, 2021 to comply with regulations governing human cell and tissue products, which includes submitting to the FDA for review.

Adverse events related to unauthorized stem cell usage, outside of clinical trials, affected 360 people. They included:

  • 334 cases documented in peer reviewed journals, government and news media reports and other literature
  • 5 cases reported in FDA’s adverse event reporting system (FAERS), a public database of reports submitted to the agency
  • 21 cases described in consumer reviews of stem cell business posted to Google, Yelp and Facebook.

These adverse events continue to be reported to the FDA as a result of unapproved stem cell treatments. Most of the reports were life threatening bacterial infections, including septicemia. Septicemia is a life threatening blood infection.

Other adverse events included:

  • paralegia
  • pulmonary embolism
  • cardiac arrest
  • tumors
  • lesions
  • other growths
  • organ damage or failure, some resulted in death

According to an article in JAMA, these events are under reported and the FDA urges people if they experience an adverse event, please report it. You could be saving someone’s life.

Is this potential for great harm worth trying to cure something that does not need to be cured?
